The SUSS course comprises learning content, interactions and assessments. Content is typically in the form of a Study Guide or an Interactive StudyGuide (iSG), Chunked Lesson Recordings (CLR) and a prescribed textbook.

Learning takes place through self-study as well as when students interact with each other and with the teaching faculty. Such interactions take the form of online or face-to-face learning activities. To help students gauge their level of understanding, formative assessments, graded assignments, and written examinations are conducted.

Learning Services works closely with Schools to develop engaging courses that comprise all elements relevant to content, interactions, and assessments which are complementary and match the desired learning outcomes.
